    Show Poster Competition 2008

    During June's meeting the Malta Aquarist Society launched the poster competition. This is open for all members of our club. We're giving €100 worth in Tropical products, in all. €50 for the best Malta poster and another €50 for the Gozo poster. Maltese members can do the Gozo poster while the gozitans can do the poster for Malta. A member can participate in both, but with different poster artworks...for obvious reasons. So all you have to do  is  to  design an adequate poster which attracts the judges' decision and you could be the winner.

     So the title and other information for the poster will have to be...

    Malta poster - Malta Aquarist Society

                     35th Annual Fish Show 2008

    Venue: De Porres Hall, Sliema

    Dates: Saturday 20th - Sunday 28th September

    Opening hours: Have to discuss them yet but for now you can do them similar to the previous posters I'm going to put in this thread.  

     

    Gozo poster - Malta Aquarist Society

                   Gozo section Fish Show 2008

    Venue: Ninu Cremona School Hall - Victoria

    Dates: Thursday 14th - Sunday 17th August

    Opening hours: Will let you know later, after we discuss them.

    These are some examples of recent Show posters done by our members... Let's see what is this year's result! The Malta Aquarist Society is giving €100 in Tropical products, for both posters!!     Today I did mine but I will do others just to select te best ..

    At first you are in control of your hobby but later on Fish Keeping will manilpulate you :s

    You could participate in both Rob... you can do the maltese poster and also the gozitan one. Don't forget that there €50 and €50! Big Smile

    At the bottom of the poster do we need to write the website and the telephone number?

    and when are you going to post the opening hours?

    Sorry, but there are some misprints, that we need to fix out.
     
    The opening hours are like the previous years, but if we change them, we just alter the numbers, so it's not a big problem. So you can just write them from 00.00 to 00.00 & when we have the official opening hours, we will adjust them accordingly.

    Suggestion!

    Can we make the Poster with less WORDS! To have an attractive Poster you do not need to have a lot of words! The Poster must talk by it self!!!

    Waiting for a reply so that I can make my poster!
