Hii and hope you received the membership card. May I remind all members, that the committee has decided to post this months' issue of the Ilma Car to all 2011 members. However I wish to inform all that this is the last Ilma Car that we will be posting to all members and that the June edition will be only received by those members who paid the 2012 membership. The Malta Aquarist Society has always kept the member ship fee as low as possible that everyone can afford. This is only 12 euros per year. This can be paid either to any committee member or by cheque payable to the Malta Aquarist Society and posted to the Malta Aquarist Society at Stores 21, Mount Carmel hospital, Attard.
May I remind all that the 2012 membership, amongst other benefits, entitles you for a 10% discount upon purchasing of fish from the main LFS in Malta. You would also be helping our Society to continue working amongst aquarist and hobbyist alike inn our wonderful hobby.

To who ever asks that question clearly doesn't know what he's asking/talking about ... consider my case ... i paid the membership (which €12 is really really low) ... upon my very first purchase of fish food, I already saved that amount ... to understand better ... should I have bought the same amount of fish food (not to mention HALF the amount of it) from a local store I would have paid almost twice as much the price. My disappointment is that I got to know very late, after two years of paying very very high prices, but anyway that's another story.
So please THINK before asking questions. And not to forget .. apart from this saving, you get lots more of info, suggestions, and God knows what else, which NO you won't get it online (and I do know how to search online don't worry about it - it's part of my job)
To the club admins - could you gently check and advise regarding my membership card please? Since to date I havn't yet received it. Not that I am in a hurry but I'm soon visiting our club again as a member now :D :D

Thanks for your words of appreciation Geoffrey. Luckily most like yourself understand such benefits and appreciate the efforts which go behind the scenes in achieving services and products at very good prices to our members. If one has to mention the Ilma car Publication for a start it already costs the society much more than it gets in fees imagine everything else. Few know that all this is done for our members and for them only. In today's world where everything is pricey it is not easy to sustain such services. But thanks to the efforts of people who persist the club managed to keep these benefits to date. Thanks also for the support we get from sponsors and members. Re your card, Martin and Frank are already checking it out and will get back to you soon. Don't worry you will still get the good discount from the club anytime now. As indicated on the main page I invite you and anyone who wishes to buy to make use of our on-demand service. Just contact one of the numbers on the contact us page and we will agree a time when we can open the shop for you to buy food etc.rgds

Thanks a million Trevor :) Appreciated ... I will pay a visit next Friday since I agreed the time with Bertrand .... perfect :) really need something floating pellets/sticks for my severums as they only eat anything that floats ... bottom food are totally ignored by them :( tropical cichlid and arowana medium sticks seem to be the best to go option ! :)
Mentioning Severums, I bought this couple from your show last year from a club member, and they are so beautiful and became my favorite fish :) I wish to buy another couple of them, therefore is it possible to trace who was selling them? Member/breeder was stationed to the left of the big room, maybe you can provide me with his contact details?
